By using Alldan Chat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Alldan Chat is an AI-powered chat assistant. Your chat history is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Account information (email, display name) and any custom system prompt you configure are stored on our database to provide the service.

3. Usage Limits

Free accounts are subject to a daily message limit. This limit resets every 24 hours and is intended to ensure fair access to the platform. The current limit is displayed in your account settings.

Subscribing to a paid plan may increase or remove this daily limit, as described on the pricing page. Usage limits are subject to change with reasonable notice.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are available for users who require additional features or higher usage limits. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Billing — Subscription fees are charged upfront on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on your chosen plan). Payments are processed securely by Paystack.
• Cancellation — You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
• Plan changes — Upgrading or downgrading your plan takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
• Failed payments — If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. After repeated failures, your subscription may be downgraded to the free tier and paid features will be disabled.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
• You agree not to use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to send messages or interact with the service in a way that circumvents usage limits.

7. Limitation of Liability

Alldan Chat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
