1. What We Store

Alldan Chat is designed with privacy in mind. We store only the minimum data required to provide the service:

  • Account details (email address and display name) — stored on our database to manage your account and authentication.
  • Custom system prompt — if you choose to set one in Settings, it is stored on our database so it can be loaded every time you send a message. This is clearly noted in the Settings UI.
  • Message count — we record the number of messages you send to enforce daily usage limits and measure platform usage. A daily counter is reset every 24 hours. No message content or metadata is stored, only the count.
  • Subscription & payment data - if you subscribe to a paid plan, we store your subscription status, plan details, and payment transaction records (amount, currency, date, and reference). Full payment card details are never handled by us — they are processed securely by our payment provider.

2. What Stays on Your Device

Your chat history is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) — not on our servers. This means:

  • Conversations are only accessible from the device and browser where they were created.
  • Clearing your browser data will remove your chat history.
  • We cannot access, view, or recover your conversations.
  • Private Mode conversations are never saved anywhere — not even in local storage.

3. Data Processing

When you send a message, it is transmitted to our AI provider for processing. This is necessary to generate responses. We do not train AI models on your conversations, and your chat history is not used to improve or personalize the model.

4. Cookies

We use essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and are not used for tracking or advertising.

5. Data Retention

Account information is retained until you delete your account. Chat history stored in your browser's localStorage is retained until you clear it. You can delete individual chats or all your data at any time. Payment and subscription records are retained as required for financial reporting and may be kept after account deletion.
